Who the AI recommends · Austin, TX · October 2026 · updated monthly

Brazilian restaurants in Austin.

We asked ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and Meta AI who they recommend. 100 answers in October 2026. Here is who they named, in the order of how many answers named each.

This order says who the AI recommends, not who is best. We count the answers; we do not rate the businesses.

The question, word for word

"What are the best Brazilian restaurants in Austin, TX?"

"Quais são os melhores restaurantes brasileiros em Austin, TX?"

Asked 10 times in each language to each AI, through each one's API, with web search, between October 19, 2026 and October 22, 2026. Answers read: ChatGPT 20, Claude 20, Perplexity 20, Grok 20, Meta AI 20. Not the phone app: there the answer may differ. Gemini is left out of this reading for now.

What is here is what the AIs answered the day we asked. Zazil does not check whether what they said is right and is not responsible for the AIs' answers. What we check, with a date, is what each business's site says.

Who the AI recommended in October.

Tap a business with a card to open what its site says. This is the first edition: "new", "up" and "down" appear from the next one. Two names with close counts are a tie.

No business on this page is a Zazil customer. When one is, the page says so, and it never changes the order.

How we measure.

Every month we ask the question above to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and Meta AI, 10 times in Portuguese and 10 in English for each AI, through each one's API, with web search. We keep every answer and count in how many of them each business was recommended. Each AI has its own count; the total is the sum of the 5. Gemini is left out of this reading for now.

The order is how many times the AIs recommended each business. It is not a quality judgment, neither Zazil's nor the AIs'. Two names with close counts are a tie. We do not check whether a recommended business exists, is open or is Brazilian, and we are not responsible for what the AIs said: we read its site and say what the site says, with a date.

The facts were read on the businesses' own sites on October 19, 2026 and will be read again periodically. A business that wants to correct a fact, complete its card or leave the next editions can write to Zazil; the privacy policy (in Portuguese) explains how. Nobody pays to get in or to move up. Zazil is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, xAI or Meta; the AIs' names say which one answered.

A business's recommendation count is the same its page on Zazil shows: the recommendations made through WhatsApp and those recorded before Zazil kept where each one came from; those made on the site, with a login only, since then are left out. That number does not change the order of this page.
